From Humble Beginnings

Armando Morin grew up in historic Guanajuato, Mexico. Growing up, his mother instilled in him, his love of cooking. When Armando turned 21, he made the trek to the U.S. to help take care of his family. He tried working many jobs and decided they weren’t for him. Armando eventually found a job where he started as a busser and would eventually move his way up to line cook.

He finally found passion in the work he was doing. From there he went to Culinary School at Auburn to further his training. Armando would go on to work at a few more places before he decided he wanted to run his own business. Today he owns 2 restaurants and has partnership in another.

Flavors Around The Square has been a staple of Downtown Painesville since 2013. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Beyond that, they cater events for schools, offices, weddings, etc. They donate their time to help community organizations such as churches and schools.
